Cerebra Systems has developed the wafer-scale engine, the world’s largest computer chip, designed specifically for AI workloads.

Tom Burke's Talk At AI Infra Summit

Tom Burke, Chief Revenue Officer at Applied Digital, presented an in-depth overview of the company's efforts to address the growing demand for digital infrastructure, particularly for AI and supercomputing needs. Tom emphasized that Applied Digital is addressing these issues by building a state-of-the-art, 400-megawatt HPC co-location facility in Allendale, North Dakota, leveraging the state's abundant wind energy and favorable climate. This new facility, set to launch its first 100 megawatts in early 2025, will be one of the largest supercomputers in the world, supporting enterprise, hyperscalers, and AI startups. Applied Digital is focused on using sustainable, low-latency energy sources and innovative cooling solutions to meet the demands of next-generation AI infrastructure.
